Training camels for racing

These camels aren't there just for the tourists, despite the show-off pose of the rider, they are undergoing serious training for racing on the 14km camel racing track nearby. They're all roped together so that the young ones have to work hard to keep up with the lead adult, which incidentally is a much-prized white camel.
