View from the Cairn Gorm

We motored to Glenmore Forest Park, stopping at intervals along the north shore of Loch Morlich. Red squirrels frequent the grounds of the Visitor Centre, but there were none there when we arrived and Basils are not permitted inside.

So we motored up the mountain. The mountain railway is currently out of action. When we got to the visitor centre, the wind was so strong I had difficulty opening the door. And it felt cold. Stayed long enough to try to get a panorama and to take this photo.

Then we descended the mountain stopping off to check the mountain stream along the way.

La Taverna in Aviemore can make gluten free pizzas. Len and I enjoyed pizza and wine for supper. Exhausted by 6pm
