Healthy competition

I walked into Winchester this morning to have a look at the Christmas Market in the Cathedral Inner Close. I lasted about two minutes as it was heaving with large crowds dawdling at a snail's pace. Salisbury Cathedral are also doing a Market this year and there seems to be quite a bit of friendly rivalry between the two.
Hopefully the coaches that bring shoppers from miles around will go to both cities and give them enough time to go to the shops as well. But that sounds exhausting and not my cup of tea !
