Blips From the Bruce

On today's agenda...several waterfalls, 2 lighthouses, and Wiarton Willie, Canada's equivalent of Punxsutawney Phil...a varmint (groundhog) who...on February 2nd...decides how many weeks of winter we have left.

Clockwise, from the upper left...we have Sauble Falls, Al with a tree stump, Shelley, Al, and Lisa near Jones Falls (in the snow), Indian Falls, the Big Tub Lighthouse in Tobermory, and Al with a giant concrete Willie.

Why is Al in so many pictures? The boy is a poser. Anything you ask him to do...he does. Nice to have a willing subject.

The only problem? It is cold...bitter cold. I don't think that it hit 40F, and there was still a stiff wind hanging around. But, it was still a fun day, topped off tonight by eating at Canada's national restaurant (Tim Horton's), and Al and Shelley teaching us a new card game (5 Crowns.)

Our lighthouse tour is over, but we hope to see a few more waterfalls on the morrow, and maybe...a basilica (cathedral) or two.
