stuck in the muck

Seb and Claire came over for lunch in their new van, to show it to us, he just got back from picking it up from Marseilles yesterday. And here it is stuck in the mud in Langoelan, looks like a long wheel base doesn't turn here after 3 days of rain. Boys in tree, shouting moral support. And the Berlingo started smoking after half an hour of trying to pull it out. That doesn't smell too good now, hope it recovers before tomorrow morning. Two and a half hours later, 3 more children, 2 more cars to pull at it and another van and 3 more adults and it's still stuck there. The neighbour will be down with his tractor tomorrow!
