BARCELONA DAY 1

Left home at 5am...zzzzbut somehow with trouble finding a parking space and long wait for parking bus we literally made it to the gate on time....
# no time for shopping or breakfast
# so we made do with a luxury plastic toaster on board!!!
Easy bus transfer to our lovely hotel...checked in then headed off in 25•c...to ....
# the cable car...a frustrating 90 min queue... but a ride with amazing views ( shame it wasn’t the cable car I meant!!! ) However it was here we learned yet again you had to pre booked tickets for attractions and the main place was sold out :(((
# whilst up the top we had tapas in a posh hotel with great views over the harbour.
#then with some clever searching we found tickets for 3 places...La Sagrada Familia being the main one.

#stopping off briefly for paella and litres of sangria!!!

# a truly awesome place with breathtaking architecture and natural lighting effects.

We eventually got back to our hotel, barely able to walk not due to sangria . We had been on the go for 16 hours!!

Thankful....for a chance to revisit this amazing city with The Rev.
