History and Nature Day today

Sheri and I visited Horseshoe Falls today near Cross Keys and then went a few miles to visit Rose Hill Plantation.   Some time in the woods and then a little South Carolina history.   The state park ranger spend nearly an hour and half with us as we were the only visitors to the house today.      
Then a late lunch/supper at a barbeque/pulled pork restaurant! 

Another longish day but Sheri is seeing things off the normal tourist path.  As you can see in the photo collage, she HAD to take off her shoes and wade in the creek at Horseshoe Falls...the water was really cold!   

Tomorrow is another long day..off to the cooking demo and luncheon!
