Towpath (this side) and horse field (that side)

To get to this horse field from where I live is a pretty level walk that takes about 7 minutes. Usually. But at the moment the footpath between home and here is under water.

The Environment Agency website, which updates flood information every 15 minutes, says that for this area there is currently no flood alert (the lowest level of concern for potential flooding) for this area and that its flood status last changed at  19:35 on 05 Dec 2008.

That's all right then.

Makes me worry a bit, though, for those of you in zones where there is a flood alert in place. Let alone a warning (the next level of concern up). I hope you've got your waders by the bed.
