Not on Good Form

The carer rang me late morning to say that she thought that Mum (aka Gran to all) had, had a stroke (thankfully not) and had called the ambulance. I knew that she would be frightened and so dropped all to go to find her.

She definitely has cellulitis and possibly another UTI. Her blood pressure is 94/46 - which is not idea! We hope that lots of fluids will help sort that. The A&E Dr thought she might have cracked her pelvis (thankfully not) and is also concerned that the very high count of white blood cells means she may have leukaemia (hopefully not). So, she has been admitted and is having intravenous antibiotics and paracetamol and fluids. Tomorrow is another day. But she is 96.......
