View from the gate

Looking out early this morning, we saw that the road outside our gates was flooded. It looked rather deep!
However, after breakfast the water had gone down and the cars were swishing along.
This is the view showing the mess of leaves and mud left behind. But so far, no one in the village has had water in the house, so we are fortunate. The village hall across the road is also set well up from the road, so events can continue to take place!
