I'm still undecided which of the Two Great Perils will finally finish off our species. Will it be Artificial Intelligence, turning off the Internet and sending in the hordes of battlefield robots we've built to mop us up, or will it be Natural Stupidity as we Carry On Fracking and watch climate change slowly boil the frog (with us as the frog)? Either way, in this anti-intellectual climate, what a joy to spend a few hours in a sunlit autumn woodland with experts who want to share their knowledge.
