Ferns in Fladdabister

A dull day, cold and showers, windy too, and picking up to gales in the afternoon.

Another day working on the museum desk.  A steady day of visitors with the poor day. There seemed to be plenty of tourists about too, shame the weather couldn't be better for them.  A quiet evening at home, walkies with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later.

Went for lunch and it was raining!  Headed down the road, still raining.  I did manage a brisk walk in the rain, but didn't go far.  As I walked around the ruined croft houses, one old house had it's door open, so I couldn't resist and peeked inside.  Suddenly the wind and rain vanished, and felt like I'd stepped into a different world.  The old house has been converted into a byre, but felt really garden like with the ferns and plants growing inside.  Various crofting objects lying around too.  Taken at Fladdabister.
