This camel skin lamp was brought back by M many years ago from Pakistan where he was working with VSO after college.

It is one of the few things to have survived over forty years .

( I am still confined to barracks most days following knee surgery- why don't they tell you its going to be so painful? no wonder doctors put potential patients off.  The weather has turned cold so I am reduced to blipping stuff around the house.)
