A day out!

A trip to London to meet up with A, Max and Annie. It was Annie’s turn to choose where we would visit and as she has been learning about London at school we went to St Paul’s Cathedral.

It was a wonderful visit and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the children’s interest was held for 2-3 hrs. We were enthralled.

We then wandered over the Millenium bridge and encountered a Harry Potter event and one of these ‘statue’ people. Max was total unaware that it was a real person and was a bit taken aback. (In extras)

We has a snack in Cafe 101 in the Salvation Army Headquarters, a light, airy, spacious place with inexpensive food. Very handy and great for kids.

A wander along to Bank tube station to see Mansion House, the Royal Exchange and the Bank of England.

There was a fire alarm at Kings Cross Station so the tube didn’t stop. As a result I had to do a speedy walk from Euston Square back to Kings Cross just in time to get my train.

Home to prepare for another day out tomorrow. I’m exhausted!! :0)
