Hill-Bagging

Des Taylor's Celebration Walk On Cefn Yr Ogof.

A dozen walkers gather for Des Taylor's last English and Welsh HuMP. Excellent company and good weather. Easy parking in New Road. A fine route provided by local, Alec Cameron, also known as "trigging on an island". Up the track for several metres and then straight up a fairly steep path. He took us to the Folly Tower then the summit. Cake, choice of 3 whiskies and a a few bubbles.
Then Des decided to start a new journey by bagging a local P30 called Pen-Y-Corddyn-Mawr with its hill fort before all twelve retired to a local pub.
