Our eyes met across the street

This is a rather aloof but charismatic cat called Billy.

Billy lives across the street from my parents house and visits their garden every day mostly on the same route at the same time.

When he was young he caught birds so was chased from the garden, this never stopped him returning but he has never forgotten.

Now he is old and just hisses at birds rather than killing them we could all be friends but no even when approached carefully and talked to kindly he simply ignores us. The exception is when his owner is present and we do talk regularly then he is friendly as friendly could be, but only then.

So I could add two-faced to aloof but there is something very interesting about him it almost makes you wonder what or who he may have been in a previous life !

Of course this is a candid shot of his reflection but he does still seem to be staring straight at me.
