all alone

I bought these little glass bird brooches in Guernsey when I was with Kathy. She had a pale green one and I had the blue one. Then later on we had to go back to the shop for a couple of postcards and I noticed that the little pink bird was all alone in the centre of a display of other souvenirs. So I had to buy it - I couldn't lave it there with both of its friends gone...
I like the tiny bubbles in the glass and they're a pretty souvenir of our little trip.
