Show-off Cat among the pteris

The day somehow slipped away and at dusk I noticed I'd not blipped or even gone outside in the cold weather. So, out I rushed looking for a quick blip just so I could get back inside. The cats were delighted! They thought we were going to do some gardening again-- that somehow spring or summer had returned even though there was light snow for most of the day. They ran around trying to get me to play too. Ha!
I tried a couple photos and finally this one with still lively color on the young pteris bush worked. And, of course, as soon as I snapped it Gracie Twinkle-toes rushed into the frame.
