Still Autumn

My day started as it almost always does with a good walk. Thank goodness I didn’t put it off, because by noon there was a steady rain falling. After my walk I spent the morning in Jake’s kindergarten classroom parent helping and it brought back the best memories. I taught at his school for ten years before Elizabeth was born and the school itself has changed little. I was there two hours and felt like I had put in a whole day’s work, but I loved every minute of it.
Grateful today for....the funny things kids say. I had a smile on my face the whole morning.
