A day in London

Oh wow what a fantastic day we have had in London. We started by walking along the Regents Canal, stopping for a coffee in the sunshine, to the Victoria Miro gallery. We went to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibition. It was amazing. There was a small display of lanterns and mirrors, as blipped, absolutely stunning. The installations of flowers and pumpkins were beautiful. Simple, colourful and exquisite. The large paintings were great sources of inspiration.

We then headed over to Borough market and feasted our eyes on all the fantastic stalls. We had dosa for lunch. Then on to the Tate Modern. The the building is amazing in itself. We went up to the viewing platform for fantastic views of London.

Then over to Spitalfields for a quick browse in the cycle shops and around the market. We met Fu in a pub and then on for dinner in Pizza Union. It was so cheap, then we realised we were opposite a University building. On to a crepe cafe for pie, which cost more than our dinner! We all headed back to the station and went our separate ways home. It was great to see Fu and have such a fab day. The choice for extras was so hard
