Chillin' in the sun

A glorious day in Sunny Dunny. Matthew got himself dressed without being told to (a rarity) and headed outside as soon as he could, because the sun was shining.

The other 2 sat in their PJs discussing Matthew: "Dunno why he's gone out" said Andrew. "No" said George. "I'm not going out" said Andrew. "No." said George. After a decent pause, George added, "But it is nice and sunny. Maybe we'll go for a walk later".

And we did. Just into town to get a birthday present for Andrew's pal, Rowan. Stopped on the way back to look at this view. The light today was amazing, it felt like you could practically touch the Fife coast.

Matthew's pal, Jack, came to play in the afternoon. The lads all got heavily into a game of "Scots and French battle the English", inspired by Matthew learning about Mary Queen of Scots recently.

My normal tendency is to charge around all over the place, but we are having a very relaxing half term, which is just what was needed. I love to see the kids just hanging out with each other and making up games. Helps when the weather's good, of course!
