Don Whillans Hut and Hen Cloud

We returned to The Roaches for the first time since the fire which happened on 9th August. It destroyed 200 acres of moorland and was caused by a wild camp fire.

You could still smell charred vegetation, but there were signs of plant life in amongst the burnt heather.
