LITTLE GEM

Today I had to go across town to pick up a sworn translation (translation jurée) of my birth certificate. It is peppered with enough official stamps & signatures to bamboozle any jobsworth worth his job...

I met my translator and admired her work - brilliant job & paid her more than she asked because I've been self-employed for the last 50 years & I know how we underestimate our worth...

Anyway, just across the street form her house was this little gem!
