No flowers but a perfect Yorkshire day

Today was my 'birthday', not the day of my birth but my onomastic day, the day of St Dimitrie, so another occasional blipper (from Latvia) suggested that I should 'do something special', a 'special walk. I don't have to go far from home to find a 'special walk' and set off for Otley Chevin with the idea of finding a lone flower for 'Flower Friday'. Not a flower to be found, and strong wind made the probable 4degC up there feel like close to zero.
But what clarity. One of those days we're really glad to live in Yorkshire.
