On top of the world

It was a lovely clear morning so we drove up to where they have all the satellites for night star gazing. The highest point is over 8,000 feet. We were lucky to get a car parking spot and it was 7 degrees but didn’t feel cold as the sun was shining. You can look right down into the caldera which fills up with cloud as the morning progresses and then clears again each morning if you are lucky. The landscape is very lunar like.
