Familiar sight

Arrived mid afternoon in Zurich after my flight to Basel. Crossing the Limmat after exiting the station is always a thing I look forward to. I grabbed a late lunch of a tasty Rösti, surrounded by friendly Bayer Leverkusen fans who were in town to play FC Zurich, before heading to my son’s flat to my luggage. Then back to town to meet up for a drink with ex pupil and friend Neil, who now works over here. Home cooked dinner by Iain after he’d finished up his work. Great first day.
