Trip to Holmfirth tonight - didn’t see any of the characters from Last Of The Summer Wine - did see five brass bands competing in The Brass Factor competition

The band in which airedaleknitter plays - BD1 -swept the board - won the audience vote - the award for best soloist (an amazing performance given by a 12yo) - and were announced the overall winners by the judges. The Band Of The King’s Division - the Army’s first professional brass band made a guest apperance

An evening that was music to my ears - even got to see Holmfirth by night - thank you AuntieP for taking us
