Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Vintage 1968

5 out of the 10 in our close family have October or November birthdays so I say why not one big party.  Only this one was a really big one to celebrate son Eric’s 50th!  There were lots of bags of 50 this or that but this was my favorite—50 dog bones!  Hint Hint.  We really wanted to get him a dog but couldn’t  quite pull it off—(and of course he has to do the picking) so we gave him money and are lobbying that he spend it on a dog,.
We'll see...
Put the family photo in the extra…The 5 were supposed to be the subject but somehow Oskar (born in March) decided he needed to be right there.  We do this standing every year to see how those kids grow!   It includes Eric’s in-laws...great to see them.  Those boys have 2 sets of old grandparents nearby!  A great dinner..  (in spite of this family being impossible to cook one thing for..with vegans and gluten free, and Eric being a meat and potatoes kind of guy, we had salmon and potatoes.  and Aunt Marie’s cheesecake.  Everyone contributed and all liked their painted rocks,.)

I am exhausted and ready to fall in bed…maybe will be up to a short family flickr set tomorrow.

Good night all!
