Meltdown

Turned the computer on this morning after two weeks off to hear a strangulating screech, followed by very little else.

Eventually got it to start and ran diagnostics to discover the Graphics Card is not functioning.

Just about to take it out and see if it is repairable, otherwise it will have to be a new card.....Grrr!
