I keep this rose in my drawer with other things that mean a lot to me.
A book of the 23rd Psalm my dad gave me for christmas in 1976.
A book that was a favourite of my son's when he was little.
A card from an old friend.
A key chain my dad made for me out of macrame and woodburning.
And this rose (what's left of it) that I was given over 25 years ago.
