October Rain

It was a rainy, drizzly fall day. And chilly too. The kind of weather my husband and I call "hypothermia" weather. If you're out, especially if you're sitting still, it's hard to stay warm on such days. So for once, we stayed in.

This is the view from inside our house looking out the deck door windows. The foliage colors are running a bit late this year, but you can see some pretty golds and oranges. A few of the leaves are down, but there are still plenty on the trees to make a lovely show. Yes, even in the rain!

A song for such a day: Robin Jackson, with October Rain.
