Patterns of Sintra

We caught a train to Sintra, about 20 mins from the centre of Lisbon and were blown away by the warmth and blue skies highlighting the strong colours, patterns and eccentric architecture of the Palácio Nacional da Pena.

The views from the winding battlements of Castelo dos Mouros were superb and all in all it was a terrific day, as evidenced by my multiple extras.

The sun may have gone to our heads a little too as the ten of us took a lot of fun shots of each other too. And later there was the ‘obligatory’ port tasting. Well, we are in Portugal after all.
