Sleepless Night

With so many disruptions last night I began to wonder whether it was worth going to bed. H was poorly and had to be collected from a friend's house, B was back late at night. I was surprised when Eddie settled himself on my pillow and curled up to sleep against my neck, maybe he was cold. At 2.40am he barked to be let outside. At 8am the doorbell is ringing , there's a major gas leak and access was needed to my neighbour's house. Thank goodness for that extra hour in bed.
