Busy Sunday

After having a late night and then an extra hour in bed it was a relaxing Sunday.  I decided to boil up some Khadi papers with leaves and have another go at eco printing.  It is always so exciting opening the bundle to find surprises like these.  Bramble and hawthorn leaves on this one and the markings are lovely.  The purple edges come from the logwood that l dropped in to the water before cooking this up.  It appears that the under side of the leaf has given the best results on this occasion. 
It's been a productive weekend all in all with quince jam and membrillo making yesterday as well.
