Window

Here we are again, out on the golf course, listening to the birds, watching the ferry go out, generally having a wonderful time making the most of a fantastic weather window. We even took outer layers off and basked in the feel of sunshine on our backs (when in the lea of shrubbery). Just lovely.

Later, I went down with a friend to see the grey seal pups which have started arriving. We were fortunate in seeing a very newborn, but retreated as the mother was obviously disturbed - so many people wandering and looking from the footpath above as it was a gorgeous day. Better to let her get on with it in peace.

Thank you very kind blippers so very much for your comments yesterday. It's been a difficult couple of months but I needed to record it for my journal. The support was just lovely and a real bonus.
