Tuesday: Chimney Cleaning

MrD cleaned the chimney this morning and replaced the steel plate which shifted last night. Whilst he was wearing his overalls he also gave the boiler a bit of a service.
Weather was so nice, after the ground frost first thing, that I had a day of gardening.
Repotted Verbena “Buenos Aires”, which will stay in the greenhouse for a while to recover. Moved more geraniums into the greenhouse.
Prepared the sheltered area of the garden between the greenhouse and back wall and started moving all the stock plants for next year’s plant sales.
In today’s blip from left to right: Persicaria, primrose, ladybird which had been hiding under a flower pot and the seedling Rowan which is growing next to the trunk of the Rowan which dies and fell during a storm.
