Day Out

Today we were up early, myself and my two younger teenagers, as we headed off to London on the train. We visited the House of Illustration (round the back of Kings Cross) - and took this on the way back - the new underground passage from the Google HQ through to Kings Cross / St Pancras.

Then to 221B Baker Street and the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The whole Baker Street area was completely thronged with tourists, and there was quite a queue. After that we went to Madame Tussauds. The famous wax museum has changed a great deal, and now includes a film and a dark ride. The extra is a shot from the dark ride Story of London - and is a Carnaby Street set.
