In case a tsunami is expected

To Wakayama, we got on Kuroshio, a limited express train service between Kyoto and Shingu, Wakayama (we met up and got on the train at Shin-Osaka and arrived at Wakayama).

This notice was attached to each seat for passengers to read and refer to in case of tsunami. This is probably because the train runs a long way along the biggest peninsula in Japan called Kii Peninsula, which may be hit by tsunami caused by a big earthquake. While driving along the peninsula on the second day of our trip, we also came across many signs related to tsunami.

I really liked the pictures of panda. Wakayama is also famous for pandas, which are shown at a popular theme park called Adventure World. The park itself is one of the popular travel destinations but we didn't visit it this time. Still it was nice to find pandas in a notice like this.
