coffee break

The hands belong to ex-work colleague Martin.  Martin is newly retired and is in that 'what shall I do now?' phase that many people find themselves in, when they no longer have to go to work.

So our coffee break takes place in surroundings somewhat more comfortable than the canteen.

Martin has many options - those hands - as well as manipulating the keys of his phone, can whiz up and down the keys of an oboe without too much difficulty.

We chat about our families, reminisce about the good old days at work and thank our lucky stars that we're no longer part of it.  Not work as such - more the organisational politics that destroy any creativity or enthusiasm.

So now it's time for something completely different.  But what?

If you're healthy, financially secure and still have your wits about you, it's a nice problem to have.
