Sunset , Kerrera

This afternoon I met with a number of people from the Island of Kerrera to discuss problems they have been having with their ferry services and the urgent need to move forward with the construction of a road that joins (for the first time) those living at the north and south of the island.

When I left the meeting, which was in a hotel on the sea front at Oban, the first thing I saw was the sun setting above the sound which separates the island from the mainland.

It was a spectacular sight.
