Last Sunday evening I was at a Wedding Fayre at Friar's Carse Country House Hotel in Auldgirth. The hotel is a popular wedding venue and is set in beautiful grounds right on the River Nith. (SEE HERE).

I was on a stall run by Dunscore Fairtrade Village and we were showing couples how they could make their wedding fair - with Fairtrade gold, flowers, wine and chocolates. 

I had bought 15 long-stemmed red roses for our table, Fairtrade flowers from Kenya via Morrisons. They're still looking good on my desk.
