The best Halloween decoration I have seen today was one made using a large empty milk carton.  Someone drew a scary face on it with black felt pen and added a black hat, it worked really well and thinking about it now I should have taken a photograph of it.  The garden meanwhile has its own brand of scariness going on with plants decaying more quickly now due to the colder weather.
