Chip Shop c.1920

Today we were in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester so we visited the Portland Basin Museum.
This is a truly excellent museum which includes a representation of a 1920's street, featuring the furnished downstairs rooms of a typical terraced house, a school room, fish and chip shop, grocer's shop, pub and some other settings.
Not only was the museum excellent and very interesting - their 'Bridge View Cafe' served a really serious Bacon Butty - one of the best I have every had.  Me & Mrs MD had one each, as shown in my Blip.
