An Octogenarians Tea Party

Mum and I nipped into town this morning for some last minute bits before our holiday. I probably shouldn't have had a toasted cheese scone with chutney but I can restart the diet tomorrow....

Dennis was 89 yesterday and Jean will be 88 on Saturday. We had a delicious quiet tea party at the old folks home that Dennis stays in. The sandwiches were soft, fresh and had the crusts cut off, and there was a huge selection of home made scones and cakes.

I actually feel a bit sick now....... serves me right!
