Greenfinch

I made a spontaneous trip to Burton RSPB reserve for an hour in between driving jobs as it was such a pleasant morning. Although it is a good spot I sometimes find the waders and ducks are a bit too far away for me to photograph unlike Martin Mere. I didn't have time to wander far and this greenfinch was photographed near the feeders with a photobombing goldfinch also in the picture. I initially uploaded a very close cropped picture with no goldfinch but it looked a bit too grainy so I have changed it. It now looks like an out of focus goldfinch has been badly photoshopped in. I don't think I can win on this one.

This is the 48th different bird I have featured as my main blip this year.
