CannyScot's Day

River Tay in Autumn

A glorious Autumn day

Sadly, we had to return home, but it was the best weather yet. The drive along the south bank of Loch Tay was a new road for us and it gave us great views of the Loch and snow capped Ben Lawers, although it was wreathed in mist. We reached Dunkeld and had a lovely lunch in Palmerston's café, which was busy but superb service and food.

A walk around town, especially the Bridge over the Tay gave great views, especially of the River and the glorious trees along the banks.
