Meall a’ Bhuachaille

I always think that autumn begins when there is the first widespread snowfall in the hills and today was that day this year. We travelled up to the Moray Coast for a weekend’s orienteering and there was snow down to 550 metres through Drumochter and it was snowing as well. The blip is taken on the A95 south of Grantown-on-Spey and shows the lower slopes of the Cairngorms just before the next shower came through.
