House finch

This bicycle wheel is mounted horizontally on a tall pole. From it hang various bird feeders. The feeders can be reached from our deck and turning the wheel allows us to access feeders that would otherwise be too far away to reach. The house finch was a nice surprise as I was photographing chickadees.
