A semi hidden lane that was long ago a stream. Today this collection of empty bird cages hang above the busy walkway in Angel Place, Sydney, to represent the birds that once inhabited the area. 
At intervals a recording is played of bird song - it’s brief, but lovely when heard above the surrounding noise. 

Evidently today’s high reached 39C - higher than expected. Tomorrow should be slightly cooler.
