Golden morning light. Climbing hydrangea.

I woke very early this morning and peeked through the curtains to see the car looking like it had been in a freezer overnight, coated all over with thick frost. The air was thin and icy cold.
The sun began to make an appearance and caught the climbing hydrangea in a golden light.
We had to be up early as the Gas Men were coming to lay the new mains pipe under the pavement on our side of the road.
They were turning off the mains supply along the street house by house at 7.30 a.m. So it was necessary to use the shower much earlier than usual!
It was a beautiful morning. I took one or two more photos in the garden, having checked if the hedgehog had possibly been and eaten his food last night. He had cleaned the slate so to speak, so is not yet in hibernation.
I do not think it will be long as it was extremely chilly out there yesterday and today.
  Sunset today is 16.36.
We are driving to Bristol in the morning to see the family for the day. It's been quite a week for travel to say the least!
Extras of the garden first thing.
